About Jana Soares

I am a marketer with a passion for technology and desire to create improvements in the world. I thrive in settings where I can collaborate with cross-functional teams, solve challenging problems, and create new products or solutions.

Participating in Business Plan, Innovation, and Hackathon competitions provided the perfect platform for me to apply my natural curiosity and creative instincts towards proposals for new and marketable products and solutions to meet customer needs. This included award-winning pitches at PharmHack in Sydney, Australia, SXSW in Austin, and many others in Texas.

I received my MBA in Marketing from Texas A&M University, and am a Certified Product Manager (CPM®). Prior to business school, I was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to conduct research in Australia. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Honors Program at St. Edward’s University with a B.S. in Biology and a minor in Chemistry.

In my spare time I have blogged, presented at domestic and international conferences, participated in interviews with media outlets, competed in Toastmasters International speech contests, and served my community.
